Jefferson Township Park

Jefferson Township Park is home to a variety of attractions including camping, a stocked fishing pond, nature areas, green space, permanent facilities, special events, and rentable space for private events. See below for park rules, address, and phone numbers.

The campground features sites with full electric hookup and non-electric tent camping. For camping inquiries or to reserve a campsite please call 423-494-4270

Permanent facilities include the Fort Wayne Astronomical Society Star*Quest Observatory and the Fort Wayne Circuits RC flying field. The Star*Quest Observatory is open to the public on clear Saturday nights April – November and is home to local space enthusiast group the Fort Wayne Astronomical Society. The Maumee Valley Steam Engine Show is Jefferson Township Park’s biggest and longest running special event held annually in August. Other events held at Jefferson Twp Park include barrel racing and tractor pulls. Interested in holding a public or private event?
